Founded in February 2008, JAYKAL LED Solutions (JAYKAL) emerged with a mission to revolutionize commercial and industrial lighting. From our roots in Lewes, DE to our headquarters today in Georgetown, DE, we’ve stayed committed to delivering cutting-edge, energy-efficient LED solutions tailored to meet the diverse needs of the marketplace.

Highlighting Innovation

Leveraging its expertise in solid-state lighting design and applications and free from the limitations of traditional fluorescent and HID lighting, JAYKAL quickly introduced unique LED products to the market. Notably, the Vari-Watt driver became the first LED driver to offer field selectability for LED fixtures. With a strong commitment to quality and customer satisfaction, JAYKAL grew into a regional provider, serving commercial and industrial clients as well as Utility Direct Install programs.

Federal Growth and ESCO Partnerships

By gaining insights from Energy Service Companies (ESCOs), JAYKAL focused its design and development on high-efficiency retrofit fixtures. Through an ongoing interview process with installation lighting companies, JAYKAL refined its products for easy installation, reduced packing, and minimized installation time for large ESCO projects.

In 2018, JAYKAL became the first U.S. lighting manufacturer to expand production to Laos, a Trade Agreement Act (TAA) Designated Country. This strategic expansion, praised by U.S. Ambassadors, has enhanced our production capabilities, enabling us to deliver a wider range of high-quality products to the U.S. market faster and more efficiently.
