LIGHTING RETROFIT PROCESS

1. ESTABLISHING ELIGIBILITY

Once we established your eligibility in one of the Energy Efficiency Rebate Programs, a facility-wide lighting system audit will be performed by one or several of our Jaykal Representatives. In order to get the most accurate count, every effort is made to inspect all areas including storage areas, restrooms and closets. The following is recorded for each fixture found

2. LIGHTING AUDIT

  • Fixture and Lamp Type, Quantities and a Description of Each Location
  • Hours of Annual Lighting Run Time Operation
  • Notes (Mounting Considerations, Control Sensors etc.)
  • Copy of the Most Recent Electricity Bill (Required to Determine KWH Rate and Savings)

3. PROJECT ANALYSIS AND DESIGN

The information collected during the Audit is now entered into the computer and the Jaykal Representative assigned to your facility begins designing your retrofit project. All possibilities are evaluated and the most cost effective and energy efficient solution will then be drafted into a proposal for your approval.

4. PROJECT PROPOSAL

The proposal consists of a Financial Summary that breaks down the value and the cost of the project, an Environmental Impact Statement that outlines the positive impact you will have by committing to a lighting retrofit, a Project Summary, a Material List, and the Purchase and Installation Agreement which must be signed before the project can be started. Once we receive a commitment from you, the client, we begin the Rebate Program Paperwork. There is absolutely no paperwork for you to fill out except for the collection of your signature for the application and a recent electricity bill.

5. PROJECT INSTALLATION

Once your project paperwork has been collected, we submit the material and labor requirements to the utility for approval. Soon afterward your Jaykal representative will schedule a final walk through with the foreman of the work crew that will be assigned to your facility. This will give you an opportunity to meet who will be working at your location. We will use this time to verify the material and labor requirements contained in your proposal. As soon as all the materials and equipment are available, your Jaykal representative will work with you to schedule the actual installation.

6. PROJECT COMPLETION

Customer satisfaction is our first priority. Upon project completion, your Jaykal representative will contact you to review the completed project.

7. WARRANTIES

All Jaykal products are UL listed for safety and either Energy Star Approved or DLC Qualified for quality. In the unlikely event of a warranty or service claim, any potential concerns can be addressed promptly from our Delaware office.
